Hello !
Like everyone else, I have become anxious about the Coronavirus Pandemic. I want to reassure you that I am diligently following all recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In addition to protocols on sanitizing, I do not take public transportation and have not been in any large social gatherings. I have not been exposed to anyone that has been exposed or to anyone known to have the illness. I take your health and the health of your families and loved ones as seriously as I take my own.
Hudson River Landing, where my studio is located has assured us they are following all protocol and continue to clean all day, 7 days a week. This is their norm, but are extra diligent and using some new procedures. We always have a limited, small amount of foot traffic and will be notified if there are any concerns in the building.
Concerns about coronavirus are absolutely warranted, and it’s essential that we pay attention and follow recommendations to slow the progression of COVID-19. However, it’s also critical that we are measured in our concern, and make intentional efforts to not let our anxiety get the better of us.
Excessive anxiety can have a negative impact on all areas of our life: our relationships, our parenting, the quality of our life, and even our immune system. Given the current circumstances, having good coping mechanisms in place is essential to our health and well-being.
An easy to follow set of instructions from CDC is now available on their website. Follow this link, and download this PDF to learn the basics of preventions and what to do if you fall sick.
Stay Happy, Stay Safe!
