Two hundred years before coronavirus, the German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe had some poignant advice to do your part in this pandemic, when he wrote,
“Let everyone sweep in front of his own door, and the whole world will be clean.”
I have received many emails and calls asking when I will re-open and I’m hopeful that this will happen in June. However, this will be determined only when restrictions have been lifted. I’m anxious and excited to get back to doing what I love!
I have been following the guidelines provided by the CDC and the government regarding the safe reopening of businesses. I want to make sure that I provide a safe environment for you and KICP, once we resume activities. To ensure that we follow the CDC guidelines, we will need to implement some changes. Please keep in mind that as state-wide policies and procedures are continually changing, and as we gain more knowledge about the virus, these guidelines may also change. As testing becomes more widely available, I encourage all of you to get tested for COVID-19.
KICP will ensure sufficient distance between your family and myself. Where distance is not achievable, there will be adequate personal protection between individuals. We will continuously disinfect every surface and provide hand sanitizer and wipes for your safety and the safety of our staff. There will be only 2 families booked per day unless its a newborn. In that case there is only one shoot a day. I will greet you at the front of the building and walk you to the studio. My building has very little foot traffic and is following all CDC guidelines as well.
Reach out to me with any questions or to hold a tentative reservation. I look forward to keeping your most precious family moments captured. I hope to see you soon!
